W <br />I had tech difficulties and could not speak on 8A last Monday. I was there <br />for public comments and the Sequoia study discussion. I then had tech <br />glitches. <br />I have emailed the developer and their lawyer (Christian) and Matt <br />Edwards was cc'd. <br />As always I have no issue with the development and very much like Strada <br />and their principals, as well as their lawyer, we all get on quite well. <br />Strada has large and noteworthy projects in SF and San Mateo, including <br />on the waterfront and including affordable housing. <br />I did want to say few things though: <br />Creek not Slough <br />1. The SLC has confirmed with me and with the state surveyor that works <br />with them, and I think the Army Corps also confirmed (and I can go find <br />all this), the "arm of Redwood Creek" off the Docktown area of Redwood <br />Creek (where BIAC is, on this "arm") is Steinberger CREEK not Steinberger <br />SLOUGH. Steinberger Slough is northerly in Redwood Shores. This has <br />gone back and forth in many documents and maps. Some maps it's <br />Slough, others it's Creek, and others it's untitled or called an "arm of <br />Redwood Creek". Linda Steinberger also confirmed it's Creek b/c she said <br />it wrapped and went up toward Kaiser. <br />It would be really nice to look at all this and change any and all maps and <br />confirm that it's Redwood Creek. I can't stand yet another map and action <br />continuing to muddy it. I will forward that stuff when I can search and <br />send (perhaps this weekend). <br />Notice <br />2. The notice was stated in the 8A line item, but I did not get a mailing <br />and I live within 300 feet of the lot lines. Also there was one notice, on a <br />non fixed movable construction horse and it was missing within a couple <br />days. <br />No objection but only as to what City has title for and confirmed <br />right of way <br />3. As you know, there is some upland there that various owners and <br />operators used to use by the South dock and the side parking lot and <br />there is a huge tract of land (relatively speaking for the available upland <br />down there), and it includes the side Docktown parking lot, the stretch of <br />visitor parking by the launch ramp and indeed would even landlock Maple <br />
