These <br />quantities will be used to establish Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction costs to <br />compare the alternatives. Note that this third alternative will only be considered for the <br />levee that is in front of the library and will be the only alternative presented at this location. <br /> <br />Additional summaries for comparison of the alternatives will include listing the constraints <br />and adjacent impacts. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br /> <br />A Draft Pre-Design Technical Memorandum will be provided to the City summarizing the <br />alternatives and the cost for each at the various repair locations. Exhibits. depicting the <br />cross section of each alternative will be included in the Report. Geotechnical findings and <br />recommendations will be included. <br /> <br />Task Id. <br /> <br />Final Pre-Design Report <br /> <br />One meeting will be held to discuss the Draft Pre-Design Report. City comments will be <br />incorporated into a Final Pre-Design Report that will be used as the basis for Plans and <br />Specifications. A preferred alternative will be established. <br /> <br />Deliverables: Drawing documenting the preferred alternative. <br /> <br />A Final Pre-Design Technical Memorandum will be provided to the City. The base plan <br />and profile drawings for the improvement sections <br /> <br />Task I - Geotechnical Services <br /> <br />Levee Repair Design Consultation and Analysis: <br /> <br />- Review existing subsurface information for areas requiring repair identified by the <br />design team <br />- Interface with BKF in selection of preferred alternatives <br />- Provide design criteria and mitigation alternatives for levee repair <br />- Provide slope stability and settlement analysis for proposed levee to be raised <br />- Prepare report summarizing our fmdings and recommendations <br /> <br />Task 2. Construction Documents <br /> <br />Task 2a. <br /> <br />Supplemental Survey <br /> <br />No additional project survey is proposed. The existing plans will be based on straight line <br />interpolation of the existing levee survey.
