<br />~ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice of such election was duly <br />published and given as required by law and the order of <br />this Board, and said special election was held in <br />accordance with law on Tuesday the 16th day of October, <br />1923, the same being the date for which said election was <br />called by this board, and the judges, inspectors and <br />clerks of said election did immediately upon the closing <br />of the polls count the ballots and made up and certified <br />the returns of the ballots cast at the polling places in <br />the manner provided by law, and deposited all said returns <br />with the clerk of said Town of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, this is the time provided for a <br />regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of said Town of <br />Redwood City next after the said returns were filed with <br />the clerk of said town as hereinabove recited, and said <br />Board of Trustees is now in open and regular session and <br />has proceeded to open, canvass and declare, and has opened <br />and canvassed said returns of said special election, and <br />has examined all the matters and things in regard to the <br />calling, notice, holding and conducting of said special <br />election: <br /> <br />NOW THmiEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />Trustees of the Towa of Redwood City: <br />Section 1: That this Board of Trustees finds <br />and hereby determines that due and regular notice of such <br />special election was published and given as required by <br />law and the order of this board, and that such special <br />election was duly and regularly held and conducted on the <br />16th day of October, 1923, in accordance with law and the <br />order of this board calling said special election, and that <br /> <br />-6- <br />
