<br />the judges, inspectors and clerks of such special election <br /> <br /> <br />did immediately upon the closing of the polls, count the <br /> <br /> <br />ballots, make up and certify the returns of the ballots cast <br /> <br /> <br />at the design~ted polling places, and deposit all of said <br /> <br /> <br />returns in the manner provided by law with the clerk of said <br /> <br />Town of Redwood City; that this 22nd day of October, 1923,. <br /> <br />being the time of the next regular meeting of said Board of <br /> <br />Trustees after 'the filing of said returns with siid clerk as <br /> <br />aforesaid, is the time fixed by law for this Board of Trustees <br /> <br />to open, canvass and declare said returns. <br /> <br />Section 2: That the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br /> <br />Redwood City, upon full examination of the returns of the votes <br /> <br />cast in said Town of Redwood City at such special election and <br /> <br />upon the proposition submitted to the qualified voters of the <br /> <br /> <br />Town of Redwood City, whether certain uninhabited territory <br /> <br />proposed to be excluded from the Town of Redwood City by the <br />petition filed July 16th 1923 with the Board of Trustees of said <br />town, shall be excluded from the boundaries o.f said municipal <br />corporation, does hereby certify and declare that the whole number <br />of votes cast at said special election in said Tovm of Redwood City <br />was and is -five hundrl!.d amI S;,,'ty-f, ve (SiS.5l; that the votes <br />cast for and against said proposition of exclusion voted upon at <br />said special election were and are as follc'ws: "For.
