<br />SWC:SD <br />SWC:d <br /> <br />6/18/87 (#6) <br />7/20/87RR <br /> <br />open or solid. <br /> <br />A decorative fence shall have the <br /> <br />following characteristics: <br /> <br />"(1) The fence is constructed of material which matches <br />or complements the archi tecture of the residence <br />and its surroundings. The materials may include <br />but not be limited to, wrought iron, brick, wood, <br />stone, or a combination thereof. <br /> <br />" (2) The fence is painted, stained, or is a natural <br />color which is compatible to the residence. <br /> <br />" (3) The fence may have a distinctive cap, <br />design which distinguishes it from <br />typical wall board design." <br /> <br />trim, or <br />the more <br /> <br />SECTION <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2.54 <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />added <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforementioned Ordinance No. 1130 to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2.54. Lot, Interior. A lot abutting only one <br /> <br />street." <br /> <br />SECTION 7. Article 36 is hereby added to the aforementioned <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1130 to read as follows: <br /> <br />"ARTICLE 36 <br /> <br />"STREETSCAPE PROVISIONS <br /> <br />"Section 36.1. Purpose. To encourage greater variety <br /> <br />and quality design in the general streetscape by prescribing <br /> <br />fence and landscape regulations which will improve the <br /> <br />overall appearance of individual properties, neighborhoods, <br /> <br />and the City. <br /> <br />"Section 36.2. <br /> <br />Fence Permit. <br /> <br />All fences and walls <br /> <br />exceeding three feet in height require a fence permit prior <br /> <br />to construction. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful to erect, construct, <br /> <br />or maintain a fence or wall exceeding three feet in height <br /> <br />without first having obtained a fence permit therefor. <br /> <br />Every application for a fence permit shall be on forms <br /> <br />3 <br />
