<br />Everest Charter High School, Redwood City <br />Proposal to Provide Traffic Engineering Services <br /> <br />2. Existing Conditions. <br /> <br />A. RKH will create a traffic analysis network of the study area streets and <br />intersections using the TRAFFIX network modeling program. 1 <br /> <br />B. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) at each of the two study area <br />intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.), afternoon school (2-4 p.m.), and <br />afternoon commute (4-6 p.m.) peak hours. <br /> <br />3. Project Traffic. <br /> <br />A. RKH will estimate peak hour and daily traffic generation for the school based on <br />data provided through the City by the school owner(s). The data should include <br />time of day and numbers of students arriving and leaving the school and the time <br />of day and numbers of children being dropped off and picked up at the day care <br />facility. The data should indicate the number of children per vehicle. <br /> <br />B. RKH will estimate project vehicle distribution on the surrounding street system <br />based on data provided through the City by the school owners. The data should <br />include the nearest cross street intersection of the residence of each of the <br />students and children attending the school and child care facility. <br /> <br />4. Project Traffic Impacts. <br /> <br />A. RKH will add project traffic to existing traffic through the two study area <br />intersections for the morning and afternoon peak traffic hours. <br /> <br />B. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) for Existing + Project conditions <br />at each of the two study area intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.), afternoon <br />school (2-4 p.m.), and afternoon commute (4-6 p.m.) peak hours. <br /> <br />C. RKH will calculate the change in daily traffic volumes (Existing + Project) on the <br />surrounding street system. <br /> <br />5. Site Access, Circulation and Parking. <br /> <br />A.
