3. WORK PLAN

public, public access to records, and procedures for handling complaints trom citizens. PMC commits to
implementing Redwood City's Citizen Participation Plan.

To assure public participation in the Consolidated Planning process, PMC will facilitate three (3)
stakeholder meetings, three (3) public workshops, and two (2) workshops with the Housing and Human
Concerns Committee. PMC will also participate in three (3) public hearings. The specific timing, nature and focus
of the meetings may be changed at the discretion of the City as long as the general nature remains
consistent with this proposal and PMC concurs that the level oEefEort is not substantially increased.

PMC will offer an online community survey to encourage participation by individuals and organizations
unable to attend the public meetings. The online survey will be available to residents for the duration of
the public participation process. PMC will provide the online survey in Spanish and English.

PMC will conduct outreach efforts in Spanish and English. In addition to explaining the process and
soliciting input, we will seek to involve all segments of the community in the process. Workshop and meeting handouts, copies of written comments, and a
summary of oral comments at the City's hearings w-ill be included in the Plan. PMC will provide a
written response to comments on the Consolidated Plan.

PMC will facilitate the following public meetings;

Three (3) stakeholder meetings
One meeting with public and assisted housingpro'\-iders,private and nonprofit housing developers,
housing advocates and housing services providers including fair housing, home purchase and
mortgage counseling.providers.

One meeting with businesses and local employers, representatives from local transportation
management systems, ~e state and otherpubliclpn'\"'ate agencies as deemed important for this
process.

One meeting with public service providers including agencies pro'\-iding services to. children, youth,
families, seniors, the disabled, persons with HIV I AIDS, and the homeless; and private and public
health and mental health services providers.

Attendance at stakeholder meetings will largely be by invitation or through targeted outreach to the
stakeholder groups.

Three (3) public workshops
These three workshops will be held at locations across the City at dates and times that encourage
residents to attend.
