Speed (fpm) <br />IA 6,920 <br />5,840 152 <br />2 nd 6,300 <br />5,840 167 <br />3 rd 5,780 <br />5,840 182 <br />This crane shall be equipped with a device to help prevent sheave case and/or cable <br />damage by sensing the position of the winch cable end attachments with respect to <br />the sheave case. This system shall interrupt and shut down the "winch up" and/or <br />"telescope out" functions that can cause "two -blocking." The anti -two block wiring <br />from the base of boom to switch located at sheave case shall be located inside of <br />the boom. A boom mounted take up reel is not acceptable. Audible warning <br />systems are not acceptable. <br />Crane <br />Operating <br />Control <br />Station: The two (2) control stations, one (1) right and one (1) left of the turret, shall have <br />easy step-up access from the ground. Grab handles are to be on both sides <br />conveniently located to assist the operator when entering and exiting the platform. <br />Each station shall be constructed of non-skid, self-cleaning, and positioned for <br />optimum operator comfort. A large backup safety screen shall be provided to <br />protect the operator from outrigger motion. All levers and controls are to be located <br />for the best comfort position for most operators <br />Each station shall be equipped with the following <br />controls and items: <br />■ One lever for each of the four (4) outriggers (total of eight levers, four each <br />side) <br />• One lever to raise and lower the boom (total of two levers, one each side) <br />• One lever to extend and retract the boom (total of two levers, one each side) <br />• One lever to swing the boom right and left (total of two levers, one each <br />side) <br />• One lever to operate the winch forward and reverse (total of two levers, one <br />each side) <br />■ One foot pedal to throttle the truck engine (total of two pedals, one each <br />side) <br />• Warning indicator for dirty hydraulic filter (total of one indicator) <br />• Push button audio signal device (total of one device) <br />■ Dealer to provide and install neutral safety switch as well as engine stop <br />switch (total of two switches, one each side) <br />Page 18 of 20 <br />192 <br />
