Consultant shall develop summary charts and maps to show the collision trends and their <br />location. This information could be used for community and stakeholder outreach. <br />Task 3.5. Existing Transportation Programs and Policies <br />Consultant shall review the existing traffic safety education, encouragement and <br />engagement programs and policies in Redwood City. Examples include Safe Routes to <br />School programs implemented through Redwood City 2020 and the other community <br />wide informational programs. <br />To the extent that information is available, the costs to maintain these programs and their <br />levels of participation or efficacy shall also be identified. The list of existing programs will <br />serve as a reference for the evaluation of new programs and policies identified in Tasks <br />[:�TiTLei <br />Task 3.6. High-level Population Characteristics and Equity Analysis <br />Consultant shall perform a high-level analysis of population characteristics in Redwood <br />City to help identify the mobility needs of specific groups such as students and seniors in <br />specific parts of the City. The analysis shall investigate the concentration of youth and <br />seniors in the City, poverty level, accessible needs population, modes of commute, and <br />MTC identified Communities of Concern area. Some data for this task is available from <br />the 2020 Transportation Monitoring Report, RWCmoves, and San Mateo County Office <br />of Sustainability and San Mateo County Office of Education reports. City will provide the <br />available information. <br />Task 3.7. High-level Public Health Analysis <br />Consultant shall develop a high-level analysis of public health factors in Redwood City <br />census tracts and evaluating factors such as air pollution and obesity level based upon <br />data provided by City staff. This will help to identify if any geographic or demographic <br />groups in Redwood City are disproportionately affected by a public health factor. <br />Task 3.8. Document Existing Conditions <br />Based on the evaluations completed in Tasks 3.1 through 3.7, Consultant shall prepare <br />an Existing Conditions slide deck including relevant graphics and maps to summarize the <br />outcomes. This slide deck will be used for presentation to the community, the <br />Transportation Advisory Committee, and the Vision Zero Task Force for their input.
