Task 4.1. Outreach Plan <br />Consultant shall prepare a detailed outreach plan describing outreach methods, activities, <br />and their timeframe. <br />Task 4.2. Review Community Feedback through Other Planning Efforts and <br />Projects <br />Community outreach has been done for a few recent planning projects and activities <br />which could be the start point for the outreach task. Consultant shall review the community <br />outreach results from these planning efforts and summarize the trends and findings that <br />are most relevant to the Citywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and Vision Zero <br />Action Plan. These projects and activities are: <br />• Redwood City Slow Streets Program <br />• C/CAG's Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan <br />• Unincorporated San Mateo County Active Transportation Plan <br />• RWCmoves <br />• ADA Transition Plan <br />• Grand Boulevard Safe and Healthy Corridor Communities project <br />City will provide the information from other planning efforts. <br />Task 4.3. City Council or City Council Sub -Committee Meeting <br />Consultant shall attend and help staff present at up to two (2) City Council or <br />Transportation and Mobility Sub -Committee meetings, whether virtually or in-person. With <br />input from City staff, Consultant shall develop meeting presentations. <br />Task 4.4. Enhanced Online Strategy <br />Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, an enhanced online community outreach <br />strategy is essential for this project. Consultant shall develop below online engagement <br />tools: <br />• Online mapping survey (more details under Task 4.6) <br />• Project website (combined for the two plans) where people can access information, <br />provide input and feedback, and sign up for projects updates and announcements. <br />The website shall have a page with Spanish-language information, including <br />contact information for Consultant's Spanish speaker staff. Project website may be <br />branded as an extension of RWCmoves. <br />• Interactive pinnable map, where people can post location -specific (as well as <br />general) comments and read the comments that others post.
