<br />9A <br />Page 20 <br /> <br />at www.enerav.ca.aov/areeniobs/index.html. <br /> <br />Two California Air Districts Awarded U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) ARRA Grants. <br />Secretary Steven Chu announced the selection of 25 cost-share projects under the Clean Cities <br />program (www1.eere.enerav.aov/cleancities/) that will be funded with nearly $300 million from <br />ARRA. These projects will speed the transformation of the nation's vehicle fleet, putting more <br />than 9,000 alternative fuel and energy efficient vehicles on the road, and establishing 542 <br />refueling locations across the country. The DOE (http://www.energy.gov/) also estimates they will <br />help displace approximately 38 million gallons of petroleum per year. <br /> <br />California's grant awardees are: <br /> <br />. South Coast Air Quality Management District's (SCAQMD) UPS Ontario-Las Vegas LNG <br />Corridor Expansion Project. The project will complete a long-planned regional liquid natural <br />gas (LNG) fueling a corridor across the southwestern U.S., making the final connection <br />between the existing public access LNG fuel infrastructure in Southern California and the <br />LNG fuel stations being developed in Utah. Total DOE award: $5,591,611. <br />. SCAQMD Heavy-Duty Natural Gas Drayage Truck Replacement Initiative. The project <br />will replace 180 diesel drayage trucks at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach with LNG <br />trucks. Total DOE award: $9,408,389. <br />. San Bernardino Associated Governments' J.B. Hunt LNG Truck Project: Made in <br />America Initiative. The project will deploy 262 heavy-duty LNG trucks in Southern California <br />and construct two LNG refueling stations in San Bernardino and South Gate (South Los <br />Angeles). Total DOE award: $9,950,708. <br /> <br />CalTRUST Launches New Money Market Option <br /> <br />CalTRUST just launched a new money market account in response to participant requests for a <br />CalTRUST option with same day liquidity and a stable net asset value (NAV), or share price. This <br />new account option is open to all CalTRUST participants and has already has taken in over $100 <br />million in assets in its first week. <br /> <br />The CalTRUST money market account gives participants access to the Wells Fargo Advantage <br />Funds Heritage Money Market Fund (the Heritage Fund) Select Class shares. The Heritage Fund <br />was launched in June of 1995, and had over $24 billion in assets as of Aug. 28. <br /> <br />The new CalTRUST money market option gives participants everything they have been asking for <br />in a stable value option: <br /> <br />. Same-day liquidity for purchases and redemption requests received by 1 p.m. PT; <br />. A stable $1 NAV; <br />. "AAA" and "Aaa" ratings from S&P and Moody's, respectively; <br />. Highly competitive money market rates; <br />. Best available expense ratio of just 13 basis points (0.13 percent); and <br />. Full compliance with all provisions of Rule 2s(7) governing SEC-registered money market <br />funds. <br /> <br />Money Market Account Is Easy to Access <br /> <br />Participants can access information on their new money market account in the same manner as <br />they do their short-term and medium-term accounts via 24-hour password-protected Web site. To <br />ensure transparency, participants can view each portfolio's securities holdings in virtual real-time, <br />which represents actual values at close of business the prior day. <br /> <br />Participants Now Have Even Greater Flexibility <br /> <br />With the launch of the money market account option, CalTRUST participants now have three <br />active account options: <br /> <br />7 <br />
