6.1. - Page 7 of 145 <br />4. BID SUBMISSION DETAILS <br />Attachment A <br />Bidder's Initials <br />Bid Submissions shall comply with the following: <br />a. Before submitting a bid, Bidders should read this NIB carefully and inform <br />themselves completely of all details outlined in this Document. <br />b. Bidders will review and initial the General Provisions (pages 2-10) of this NIB, and <br />sign all required pages. After signing, the Bidder will return all pages of the General <br />Provisions including all signed pages as part of their Bid Submission. <br />c. As part of their Bid Submission, Bidders will submit pricing information on the <br />document entitled "Bid Proposal Form", properly executed in ink, with all <br />appropriate spaces filled in. Additional information may be submitted by the Bidder <br />on separate sheets of paper. <br />d. As a part of their Bid Submission, Bidders will initial and return the separate <br />attached Additional Specification Sheets. <br />e. Each Bid Submission must be mailed in a sealed envelope addressed to Office of <br />the City Clerk, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA 94063. With the closure <br />of City administrative offices to the public, packages sent to the above address <br />using courier services other than the United States Postal Service may be returned <br />to sender and not deliver successfully. Bidders should verify prior to mailing that <br />packages can be delivered to the address listed above by the due date. The outside <br />of the envelope shall be plainly marked, with the name of Bidder, the title of this <br />Notice Inviting Sealed Bids and the submission due date. <br />f. Bid Submissions must be postmarked no later than the due date shown in this NIB. <br />g. Bidders must email a nair@redwoodcity.org_to notify that a submission has been <br />mailed, prior to the deadline. DO NOT include bid amounts in the email. <br />h. Faxed, emailed, or late bids will not be accepted. <br />5. BID SUBMISSION CHECKLIST <br />Page 4 of 23 <br />178 <br />Key Points <br />1 <br />Bid Proposal Form will specify any exceptions to the specified vehicle. <br />2 <br />Bid Proposal Form will specify additional warranties. <br />3 <br />Bid Proposal Form will specify the maximum number of days until delivery <br />to Redwood City (after purchase order is released). The maximum number <br />of days until delivery will be listed by the Bidder as a specific number of <br />days (e.g. 90 days) and not a range of days (e.g. 90-120 days). <br />4 <br />Bidder will sign all required pages of the Bid Proposal Form. Bidder shall <br />initial and include all pages as part of their Bid Submission. <br />5 <br />Successful Bidder will obtain exempt license plates and furnish the <br />Department of Motor Vehicles with a report of sale, smog certificate, the <br />City's exempt registration form (Reg. 217) and all other needed paperwork <br />on behalf of the City. <br />Page 4 of 23 <br />178 <br />
