REV: 04-08-2021 RL <br />3.2. Site Visit <br />Consultant shall prepare exhibits and conduct a field review at the project location with <br />City staff. The objective of this site visit is to understand the project constraints, and to <br />locate, and mark out the proposed traffic calming elements. <br />3.3. Topographic Survey <br />Consultant shall complete a topographic survey of the McGarvey Avenue and Roosevelt <br />Avenue intersection for the implementation of the permanent improvements. As part of this <br />survey, Consultant shall identify and survey surface utilities and critical items or conform <br />locations for the plans being produced in all the PS&E packages. <br />3.4. Geotechnical Report <br />Consultant shall perform geotechnical investigation at Mcgarvey intersection to provide <br />recommendations relevant to the permanent traffic calming elements. The findings will <br />assist in confirming the pavement section for the proposed improvements. Consultant may <br />investigate the existing pavement section and obtain subgrade sample. The subgrade <br />sample will be collected for potential redesign of the pavement or documenting the existing <br />pavement section. <br />Consultant shall conduct two pavement cores and identify the existing AC and/or concrete <br />thicknesses. The holes shall be grouted and patched with cold AC patch. <br />Task 3 Deliverables: <br />One electronic copy of the final version of the 65% PS&E (Electronic) <br />Geotechnical report <br />Task 4 – Develop 95% Plans, Specifications and Estimates (95% PS&E) <br />4.1. 95% PS&E <br />After City review of the 65% PS&E package, Consultant shall provide written responses <br />to the City’s single set of consolidated, non-conflicting comments and prepare a summary <br />report documenting the design decision process.
