10 <br /> <br /> <br />l. Pursuant to Section 3.6 of this Agreement, under the guidelines of <br />the US Department of Justice and the Americans With Disabilities <br />Act’s definition of “Service Animal” for the administrative <br />convenience of each City, and acting as a representative of each <br />City, issue Service Animal tags on behalf of each City upon <br />determination by the County on behalf of the City that such tag <br />shall be issued. <br /> <br />m. If each City’s ordinance so authorizes and the City so requests, <br />review and process each City residents’ requests and maintain <br />files for Breeders and Fanciers Permits. <br /> <br />n. Dangerous Animal Designations: <br />1. Issue Dangerous Animal tags when an animal has been so <br />designated by a peace officer employed by any City or County <br />or the Animal Control Contractor as such; and <br />2. The County will invoice annually and make reasonable efforts to <br />collect applicable fees for Dangerous Animal Permit holders; <br />and <br />3. Monitor data received from Animal Control Contractor; and <br />4. Send monthly updated reports to each City’s representative. <br /> <br />o. Pursuant to Section 3.6, for the administrative convenience of each <br />City, and acting as a representative of each City, conduct <br />administrative hearings for Dangerous and Vicious Animal <br />designations under the guidelines of the applicable City’s <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />p. Pursuant to Section 3.6, for the administrative convenience of each <br />City and acting as a representative of each City, conduct <br />mandatory spay/neuter and/or fancier permit administrative <br />hearings under the guidelines of the applicable City’s ordinance, if <br />any. <br /> <br />q. Provide in-person customer service at a minimum of two County <br />locations that are open during normal business hours to enable <br />residents the ability to obtain animal licenses and/or permits for all <br />dogs and cats. <br /> <br />r. Work with San Mateo County veterinarians to ensure anti-rabies <br />vaccination reporting as required by the County. <br /> <br />s. Receive, import, and export licensing and vaccination information <br />from the Animal Licensing Contractor into the Animal Control <br />Contractor database and vice versa on a weekly basis. <br />
