11 <br /> <br />t. Under the guidance of the County’s Health Officer, review and <br />process requests from pet owners to exempt their pet from the <br />requirement to obtain an anti-rabies vaccination as required by <br />State law or County ordinance and report annually to the <br />Department of Public Health. <br /> <br />u. Invoice animal owners pursuant to the County Fee Schedule <br />6.04.290, and similar City fee schedules, following a bite incident <br />that requires a quarantine of said animal. <br /> <br />5. General Provisions <br /> <br /> 5.1 Existing Agreements. Upon execution of this Agreement, any prior <br />existing agreements between the Cities and the County to facilitate and <br />coordinate Animal Control and Animal Licensing Services will be <br />terminated. <br /> <br /> 5.2 Contracting for Services. It is expressly understood and agreed that <br />the County will contract with the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA, <br />a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (Animal Control <br />Contractor), or such other contractor as the Board of Supervisors and <br />Cities may designate, for the provision of Animal Control Services <br />including field enforcement, shelter and treatment services referred to <br />herein. Additionally, it is expressly understood and agreed that the <br />County will contract with PetData, Inc. or such other contractor (Animal <br />Licensing Contractor) as the Board of Supervisors and Cities may <br />designate, for the provision of Animal Licensing Services. <br /> <br />Shelter Services. Refer to Attachment 1 – Agreement between County <br />of San Mateo and the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA. <br /> <br />Field Services. Refer to Attachment 1 – Agreement between County of <br />San Mateo and the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA. <br /> <br />Veterinary Medical Services. Refer to Attachment 1 – Agreement <br />between County of San Mateo and the Peninsula Humane Society and <br />SPCA. <br /> <br />Operations. Refer to Attachment 1 – Agreement between County of <br />San Mateo and the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA. <br /> <br /> <br /> 5.3 Animal Shelter. <br />The Parties acknowledge: <br />1. That the new Animal Care and Control Shelter has been constructed <br />and Contractor Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA is and will be <br />occupying it for the term of this Agreement in order to provide animal
