<br />E. Provide the Redwood City Police Department contact information for the private <br />security guards working the event. <br /> <br />IV. Design and provide t-shirts for staff, volunteers and salsa tasting participants. <br /> <br />V. Pre-Event: Musicians and Other Performers from 12 pm to 8 pm <br />A. Hire and manage musicians and entertainers. <br />1. Stage 1 is a covered stage located near the intersection of Main and <br />Broadway that will feature entertainers including, jugglers and storYtellers, <br />designed for families and youngsters under twelve. <br />2. Stage 2 is a covered stage located on Courthouse Square that will feature <br />Salsa music, dancers and instruction. <br />3. Stage 3 is a covered stage located on Theatre Way that will feature Latin <br />artists. <br />B. Coordinate the interactive area for the youth and families with the Parks and <br />Recreation Department, including the hands-on art activities, bounce house and <br />face painting. <br />C. Coordinate art activities with the Art on the Square organizers. <br /> <br />VI. Salsa Tasting Coordination with Downtown Business Group (DBG) <br />A. Request information from the DBG for the Salsa Tasting entry form by July 15, <br />2009. Details include: entry fee, salsa cooking guidelines and restrictions, <br />logistical information for the day of the event, deadline for entry, mailing address <br />for entry forms and contact name for entry fee checks. All materials must be <br />reviewed and approved by the Agency prior to distribution to the public. <br />B. Ensure the solicitation of participants is consistent with the marketing plan. <br />C. Provide posters to the DBG for distribution. <br />D. Confirm the DBG secures the San Mateo County Health permit. <br />E. Install and remove barricades for street closures. <br />F. Provide garbage and recycling containers for the area. <br /> <br />VII. <br />A. <br /> <br />Food & Beverage <br />Contact local businesses, restaurants, and non-profit organizations and solicit <br />through an application procedure participation in this event. <br />B. Submit the finalized list of participating vendors by email to the Agency by <br />September 21, 2009. <br />C. Secure San Mateo County Health permit for food vendors. <br />D. Manage and organize the margarita and tequila tasting area. Profit from the <br />margarita and tequila sales shall be remitted to the Redevelopment Agency to <br />offset its financial contribution to host the event. <br />E. Ensure the DBG secures the California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control <br />permit and has the appropriate number of staff to manage it.
