REV: 10-05-21 RL <br />If Specialist is performing the cross connection test, Specialist shall submit electronically <br />in PDF format to the City the cross-connection test form within two days of the cross- <br />connection test. <br />Task 6 - Perform annual recycled water inspections at recycled water sites <br />A Specialist shall conduct annual recycled water inspections to verify compliance with the <br />City and SWRCB requirements as follows: <br />Specialist shall contact landscape maintenance company to schedule the annual <br />inspection. <br />At a minimum, Specialist shall conduct a visual inspection of all backflow <br />prevention assemblies, exposed piping, valves, pressure reducing valves, <br />sprinklers, controllers, signs, labels, tags, and all points of connection. <br />Specialist shall observe the irrigation system to assess if modifications have been <br />made (e.g., new mainline, valves, etc.). <br />o If minor system changes are observed during the site visits, the Specialist <br />shall note the changes on the inspection report. <br />o If major system changes are observed, such as new irrigation mainlines, <br />the Specialist shall require a construction change to be submitted by the <br />owner to the City for re-review and re-approval. <br />Specialist shall provide the landscape company an inspection punch list to <br />document defective items such as overspray, broken mainlines, missing tags, etc. <br />Specialist shall conduct a coverage test to verify the proper operation of the <br />irrigation system. <br />Specialist shall schedule and coordinate with the landscape company a final walk- <br />through and check for completion of punch list items. <br />Consultant shall deliver a punch list to the landscape company within two days of the <br />annual inspection. Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF format to the City the <br />final punch list signed by the Specialist. <br />Task 7 - Provide assistance with updates to the City’s recycled water standards, <br />plans, guidelines, policies, standard procedures, and/or ordinances <br />As directed by the City, Consultant shall review and provide recommended updates or <br />additions to the City’s recycled water standards, plans, guidelines, policies, standard <br />procedures, and/or ordinances. <br />Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF and original formats to the City draft and <br />final updated documents in a timeline approved by the City at the start of the document <br />review. <br />Task 8 - Provide assistance on recycled water regulatory compliance; e.g., annual <br />report, consumption reporting, etc. <br />As directed by the City, Consultant shall provide recycled water regulatory compliance <br />assistance with items including, but not limited to, annual report, consumption reporting, <br />cross-connection test form submittals, and supplemental Title 22 Engineering <br />ATTY/AGR.2021.253/West Yost & Associates, Inc.
