Schedule of Work and Time for Completion The Contractor shall consult with the designated representative of the Redwood City Water Division in planning its work schedule to make sure the Redwood City Water Division is ready to proceed. Work shall be scheduled no less than two weeks in advance. All work shall be performed during Redwood City’s Public Works work schedule of Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. For tanks scheduled for FY 2021-22, work shall be scheduled and completed within the fiscal year by March 2022. If the agreement is extended for an additional term per Section 3 (Term) of the agreement, for all other tanks, work shall be scheduled and completed within the fiscal year indicated under this Scope of Services for each tank between the months of July and September, 2022. I. Protection of Adjacent Property Structures adjacent to property shall be protected. The City shall not be responsible for any damages caused by Contractor. J. Storm Water Pollution Prevention Contractor shall at all times comply with storm water pollution prevention practices for potable water discharges and implement best management practices (BMPs) for dechlorination, erosion and sediment control, and monitoring per the California Statewide General Permit for Drinking Water System Discharges to waters of the United States. The Contractor shall report to the City the total volume of water discharged in gallons for each separate event. An event shall be considered to be the total volume discharges from an individual water tank or reservoir per calendar day. The Contractor shall be responsible for monitoring chlorine residual, turbidity, and pH downstream of the implemented BMPs to measure their effectiveness, and submit the results to the designated representative of the Redwood City Water Division in its Event Monitoring Log (incorporated herein as Exhibit “B”). For reference a copy of the City’s Standard Operating Procedures Guide for Potable Water Discharges may be provided to the Contractor upon request. K. Stockpiling of Equipment and Material The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for securing adequate and proper places for storing materials and equipment. The Contractor shall obtain permission for use of Public Works Services (PWS) from designated representative of the Redwood City Water Division property before storing materials. PWS has limited space available in the corporation yard. L. Cleanup Upon completion of each portion of the work, the site shall be cleaned of all debris and equipment and shall be left in a neat condition to the satisfaction of the designated representative of the Redwood City Water Division.
