REV: 11-23-2021 MI <br />16.Investigation, Assessment and Recommendations: Assessment of existing <br />City facilities and providing recommendations for upgrades, retrofits or <br />replacement. <br />17.Attend project meetings as required for each specific project. These may <br />include, but are not limited to the following meetings: kick-off, site <br />investigation, design review, outside agency, pre-bid, pre-construction, <br />construction. <br />18.Investigation and assessment of existing site conditions, including as-built <br />and record drawings, site investigations, information from City and site staff, <br />as required by project scope. <br />19.Assist City staff in preparing project budgets and construction estimates. <br />20.Prepare CAD base plan based on as-built records, electronic site surveys, <br />site investigations as provided by the City and other agencies, as needed. <br />21.Provide recommendations in approach to architectural design. <br />22.Provide peer review of work prepared by City staff or other architectural <br />consultants not covered under this contract. <br />Schematic, Conceptual Design and Design Development Phase: <br />1.Prepare Schematic and Conceptual Design documents, including plans, <br />details and draft specifications for City, agencies, stakeholder review and <br />approval. <br />2.Provide product and material cut sheets for review and approval. <br />3.Prepare budgetary cost estimates for architectural scope options to be the <br />basis of review and approval of schematic, conceptual and/ or design <br />development, and proceeding with construction documents phase. <br />4.Project Administration as required. <br />Construction Documents Phase: <br />1. Prepare construction documents, including plans, details and specifications, <br />complete and ready for City review, permitting, and bidding. Plans shall be <br />submitted in phases of completeness, i.e. 30% or 50%; 60% or 75%; 90%; <br />100%; Construction Conform Set if applicable. Final permitting and bid <br />construction documents set shall be stamped and signed by design <br />professional in charge. <br />2. Construction documents shall conform to any graphic standards, including <br />title blocks, scale, established by the City. <br />3. Prepare detailed cost estimates for architectural work at each phase of design <br />and construction document development. Cost estimates shall correspond <br />with line items and unit costs on project Bid Spreadsheet and the <br />Measurement and Payment Clause in the project specifications. <br />ATTY/AGR.2021.302/Crosby Group Engineers Architects, Inc. dba Crosby Group (Page 11 of 13)
