REV: 12-22-21 JB
As a starting point, the Consultant has attached a conceptual drawing which presents
our thoughts and approach to effectively handle all phases of design and construction
including: of temporary bypass pumping; equipment/structure demolishing and
replacements with new units; designing of an efficient station with smart facility layout
with desired improvements. Consultant team has a competitive technical edge and will
confidently take up this project as a challenge, and accomplish the project improvements
in a safe and reliable manner with on schedule and within budget project completion.

ASSUMPTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS
1.Environmental permitting and CEQA services are not included but can be provided
at additional cost, if required.
2.Any property access/permission needed will be provided by the City.
3.The facility is an outdoor pump station with electrical and control equipment
located in a weather-proof, non-walk-in NEMA 3RX enclosure.
4.The pump station will be in full compliance with latest NFPA 820, local and state
regulations.
5.Geotechnical services are not included, assuming these are not required.
6.The site has a 460V/Phase/60Hz PG& E service line. It is assumed that City will
pay PG&E application review and permit fees. Consultant have assumed a total
of 8-hours to coordinate with PG&E on their review.
ATTY/AGR.2021.331/BKF Engineers (Sanitary Sewer Pump Station No. 8 and No. 9 Design) (Page 14 of 23)
