REV: 12-22-21 JB <br />-One electronic copy of the drawings in AutoCAD (version 2021) and in PDF format, <br />specifications in Word, cost estimate, and probable construction schedule in Excel <br />sheet. <br />TASK 7 - BID SUPPORT AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br />It is assumed that City staff will have primary responsibility for construction management <br />inspection and will be taking lead in responding to day-to-day construction support <br />activities and that Consultant’s role will be very limited. The tasks include, but are not <br />limited to: <br />1.Written design clarification responses during project bid phase. Written responses <br />to questions from prospective bidders including assistance in issuing addenda, as <br />directed by the City. <br />2.Attend pre-construction meeting hosted by City staff. Conduct up to two (2) <br />construction inspections during construction at appropriate stages. <br />3.Review and respond to Contractor submittals and maintain submittal log for <br />tracking. <br />4.Participate in the final inspection and assist with punch list of deficiencies. <br />5.Prepare "As-Built" drawings based on construction field notes and limited field <br />review by the Consultant. <br />6.Start-up & commissioning: Consultant team will be present to witness and conduct <br />start-up and testing of mechanical and electrical structures and equipment under <br />the supervision of the designated equipment manufacturers. <br />Deliverables: <br />-One (1) set of full-size as-built plans on 4-mil polyester media. <br />-Digital copies of final specifications, cost estimate and plans in native format <br />(Word, Excel and AutoCAD). <br />TASK 8 – PUMP STATION NO. 9 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />1)This task includes the engineering design services for sanitary sewer pump station <br />no. 9 improvement project. Except as expressly stated below, the scope of <br />services covered in Tasks-1 through 7 for Sanitary Sewer Pump Station No. 8 are <br />included in this task. One BOD and one bid package will be prepared for both <br />Pump Station No. 8 and Pump Station No. 9. <br />2)Consultant will use common drawings and/or details to produce 30 drawings for <br />the E/I&C work. Electrical design will be similar to Pump Station No. 18 and 20 <br />provided by Redwood City. <br />3)Project management, coordination/review meetings for both pump stations will <br />occur at same time and no additional meetings or project management tasks are <br />included for Pump Station No. 9. <br />ATTY/AGR.2021.331/BKF Engineers (Sanitary Sewer Pump Station No. 8 and No. 9 Design) (Page 19 of 23)
