REV: 12-22-21 JB <br />4)Similar to Pump Station No. 8, Consultant will replace existing forcemain in its <br />current horizontal/vertical alignment. Consultant will use as-built record profile (if <br />available) or use a straight line profile between proposed flow meter and <br />downstream gravity manhole to which the forcemain currently discharges to. If City <br />desires to locate all bends in the forcemain and utilities crossing the forcemain <br />between flow meter and discharge manhole, it will be necessary to pothole which <br />can be provided as additional service. <br />5)In the absence of as-built records and potholes, Consultant will prepare <br />specifications to require contractor to pothole forcemain to confirm <br />alignment/profile and add allowance for additional fittings/bends in existing <br />alignment/profile to avoid change orders. Consultant will also prepare bid <br />alternative for pipe bursting forcemain to allow replacement within easement on <br />residential lots. It is assumed that City will coordinate with individual property <br />owners for access and construction, as needed, and is therefore excluded from <br />the scope. <br />D.
