REV: 03-09-2022 JB <br />City Standards, California MUTCD, and Caltrans Standard Plans. The Consultant shall perform the <br />following tasks, including, but not limited to: <br />Collect any required topographic survey data to design the civil improvements and <br />prepare topographic map <br />Conduct Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) assessment <br />Collect and review utility facility maps and record drawings <br />Coordinate with utility agencies <br />Prepare base map showing existing improvements <br />Prepare underground utility mapping as needed to identify utility conflicts and to ensure <br />constructability <br />Prepare 65% design consisting of civil design and grading, construction notes, <br />construction cost estimates, and construction schedule <br />At a minimum, plans shall include the following: <br />Title sheet <br />General notes and legend <br />Right of way lines <br />Existing/Demolition Plan <br />Existing utility information (including profiles where needed) <br />Existing and proposed civil improvements (median, curb, gutter, drainage, pedestrian <br />ramps, etc.) <br />City and State standard details <br />Stormwater best management practices <br />City staff will review and comment on the design and cost estimates. <br />Deliverables: <br />Two (2) sets of 65% design plans (24”x36”) in hard copy <br />65% Plan set, engineer’s estimate and topographic survey electronically in PDF format <br />and source file (for plans transmit format that is compatible with AutoCAD (version <br />2015)) <br />Task 3- 90% Design & Estimates <br />Under Task 3, Consultant shall respond to comments on the 65% PS&E and prepare final detailed <br />plans, specifications, and estimates for proposed improvements. Consultant shall prepare a <br />response matrix listing City’s review comments and consultant’s responses to those comments. <br />Consultant shall incorporate City and Consultant agreed-upon comments.
