REV: 05-31-22 MI D.Exclusion of Subcontractors No portion of the work pertaining to this program shall be performed by a subcontractor or any other persons other than the Contractor and their employees. E.Safety and Health Regulations Contractor will comply with all provisions of the United States Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Part 1910, Occupational Safety and Health Standards when work is to be performed in confined space areas. Full compensation for securing the required permit(s) when working in confined space areas shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items and no additional compensation will be paid. F.Review and Approval of Work All work will be performed to the satisfaction of San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District, 1351 Rollins Rd, Burlingame, CA 94010, (650) 344-8592. Prior to commencing work, Contractor will meet with SMCMVCD and the Public Works Director or designee for the provisions, specifications, and matter in which all work is to be performed under this Agreement. G.Public Safety and Convenience The Contractor will at all times conduct their work to insure the least possible obstruction to traffic and inconvenience to the general public and the residents in the vicinity of the work, and to insure the protection of persons and property. H.Substantial Change in Site to be Inspected The Public Works Director or designee and/or SMCMVCD reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel any and all remaining and incomplete work when such cancellation is necessary as a consequence of a substantial change in the site to be serviced by the Contractor. Substantial change in the site to be served will also include any construction, improvements, or repairs which are made that either prevent or make impractical further performance by the Contractor and will include any change as a result of fire, flood or unforeseeable natural events. I.Changes The Public Works Director or designee and/or SMCMVCD may, at any time, issue instructions to Contractor making changes in, additions to, or deletions from, the number of manholes or bait stations under this Agreement, bait replacement or reinstallation within its general scope.
