REV: 05-31-22 MI <br />his/her work. <br />Any and all re-inspections by the Contractor necessitated by the rejection of <br />the Contractor’s work by SMCMVCD will be made at the Contractor’s own <br />expense. In addition, Contractor will pay to SMCMVCD an inspection fee for <br />SMCMVCD’s re-inspection of Contractor’s work. Contractor may not recover <br />any additional inspection fees paid by Contractor to SMCMVCD due to re- <br />inspections of Contractor’s work. All work found by SMCMVCD to be <br />unsatisfactory (i.e., the work specifications have not been followed) will not be <br />credited to Contractor although the field investigation does show the <br />Contractor did some work at the rejected work sites. Contractor will not be <br />given pro rata credit for materials used or labor for rejected work. <br />All deficiencies must be corrected within five (5) days of notification. <br />If further re-inspection (second re-inspection) is necessary and reveals that <br />deficiencies still exist, SMCMVCD shall notify the Contractor. The Contractor <br />will not be given pro rata credit for materials used or labor expended on any <br />bait station re-inspected. <br />II.Sewer Rodent Control Program <br />Contractor will inspect and where necessary rebait selected sanitary sewer manholes <br />in the City of Redwood City on an as-needed basis. Prior locations are indicated on the <br />sanitary sewer manhole map available from the SMCMVCD, however locations may <br />be changed at the City’s discretion. <br />Contractor will conduct inspections on an as-needed basis for each designated <br />manhole to check for consumed or deteriorated bait and to correct any deficiencies <br />concerning the sewer baiting. A deficiency includes, but is not limited to vandalism, <br />missing or damaged bait blocks. <br />All tools, labor, materials and equipment necessary to carry out this program are to be <br />provided by the Contractor. No substitution of materials is permissible without the <br />express written authority of SMCMVCD. <br />Rodenticide: Bromethalin, bromadiolone, or diphacinone shall serve as the <br />rodenticide. The rodenticide shall be used in the form of a paraffin bait block, <br />of the type manufactured by Bell Laboratories. Bait blocks shall consist of <br />three (3) (0.529 oz.) bait block and shall contain 0.01 percent (0.01%) <br />bromethalin per unit weight. <br />Rodenticide may be changed by the SMCMVCD at any time depending on <br />activity and location of bait. Notice will be given to Contractor in a reasonable <br />amount of time specifying which bait and area needs to be changed. <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.127/Vector Pest Control (Dewey Services, Inc.)
