Subtask CA Stakeholder Meetings <br />Consultant will meet with and listen to individuals and interest groups regarding concerns, <br />challenges, desires, interests, and recommendations for the downtown parks and <br />Redwood Creek trail improvements. City staff and Consultant team to participate in <br />stakeholder meetings. City staff will identify and contact stakeholders (e.g., Business <br />owners, adjacent residents, community leaders), develop the final list, and schedule <br />meetings. <br />Deliverables: <br />Facilitate stakeholder meetings with community groups/individuals; two (2) site meetings, six (6) <br />video meetings <br />Stakeholder meeting notes and summary memo of key themes <br />Subtask C.5: Pop-up Open Houses <br />Consultant will set up or assist in a series of tactical events during key times such as a <br />Saturday in downtown to gather valuable feedback from busy people who could be future <br />users of the new parks. Consultant will provide interactive exhibits or displays will allow <br />community members to learn about the park planning process (including past efforts) and <br />to identify priorities or give input on concepts. These will be mini, roaming- workshops or <br />discussion opportunities that pop-up on various days (or during special events) and at <br />downtown locations such as a farmer's market or an event at Courthouse Plaza. They <br />can occur before and after concepts are finalized. The pop-up opportunities will be <br />scheduled by City staff. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Organize and conduct pop-up open house sessions during design process, total of three (3) <br />pop -ups on different days; materials for two (2) of the pop ups will be from other scope of work <br />tasks <br />Subtask C.5.1: Pop-up Park Planning -Lot A and Downtown Parking Lot sites <br />Consultant shall work with City staff to plan, coordinate, and guide the creation of pop-up <br />park improvements at the two downtown park sites. The purpose of the pop -ups is to <br />experiment with the layout of improvements and circulation to all the community to view <br />and get a sense of the scale, location and feel of the spaces. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Diagrams, exhibits, and coordination for two temporary installations <br />• Provide native files <br />Subtask C.6: Information Gathering Workshops - Charrette <br />Consultant will prepare for and facilitate workshops to communicate project parameters, <br />share background, constraints, and key assumptions, and advance the vision for the two <br />park sites, connectivity, and Redwood Creek Trail. There will be one meeting for each <br />park and one specifically to address Redwood Creek.
