Assumptions: <br />Q Existing utility connections in the City ROW are adequately sized to accept the proposed project <br />(no new service meters) <br />• Proposed sewer and water utilities are for proposed restroom and/or drinking fountains <br />• Any proposed restroom will be a prefabricated or manufactured product (i.e., no custom <br />restroom) <br />• Structural elements are limited to footings for ornamental elements (arbor, signs pergola, trellis, <br />arch, shade structure) <br />• "Lot A" project is a standalone project, separate from other project identified in the RFQ <br />• Pavement design will assume City Standard Details, Caltrans Standard Plans, and any City - <br />provided geotechnical recommendations <br />■ Project will not require Fire Code updates (i.e., existing parking lots, roads, and fire hydrants <br />adjacent to the public) <br />• Design will not include daylighting box culvert (Redwood Creek) <br />Subtask F.1: Utility Coordination <br />Consultant will request existing utility information, as-builts, and record drawings within <br />project limits to supplement the background information gathered in Task B and the City - <br />provided topographic survey. Consultant will utilize received record drawings, as-builts, <br />and utility purveyor -provided maps to identify any underground utility conflicts within the <br />project area. These existing utility purveyors will be notified of the project via email <br />following Task D (Master Plan and Design). Up to 18 hours are assumed for coordinating <br />utility conflicts with the utility purveyors during the development of Final Construction <br />Documents. <br />This task assumes any utility work will take place within the RFQ project limits. Utility <br />purveyors (e.g., PG&E) that have existing applicable agreements with the City, County <br />and/or State are responsible for designing, bidding, and constructing any utility <br />relocations as specified in their applicable agreements. <br />Deliverables: <br />■ Utility request letter <br />• Utility coordination documentation <br />Subtask F.2: 65% PS&E <br />Consultant will submit 65% construction documents, for internal City review. <br />Deliverables: <br />• 65% construction drawings <br />• Outline specifications <br />• One (1) opinion of probable cost <br />■ Provide native files <br />REV: 08-04-2021 RL <br />ATTY/AGR 2021.207/RRM (Downtown Parks and Bay Connectivity Project) (Page 20 of 32) <br />
