The findings and recommendations will be provided in
a comprehensive drainage study and stormwater management plan. A draft submittal
will occur at the 65% design level and a final submittal will occur at the 100% design level.
Analysis will occur for both on-site and off-site conditions. Off-site conditions will evaluate
for green infrastructure opportunities using the C.3d sizing criteria of the current NPDES
standards for the tributary area along the property frontage to determine if green
infrastructure is feasible and the on-site conditions will consider the City's design
standards of commercial drainage guidelines. Consultant will identify 100 -year design
hydrology (via Rational Method) and hydraulics (via Autodesk Hydraflow Storm Sewers
software utilizing the Manning's Equation) to design the proposed storm drain system in
accordance with City Design Criteria Volume III Part V: Storm Drain Design
Criteria. Hydraulic design will assume gravity pipe flow (i.e., no pumps).
Stormwater design for NPDES compliance will not be dependent on the amount of new
and replaced impervious surface per the C.3 Regulated Projects Guide (Version 1.0,
dated January 2020). This project is assumed a "C.3 regulated project" (i.e., project
REV: 08-04-2021 RL
ATTY/AGR 2021 207/RRM (Downtown Parks and Bay Connectivity Project) (Page 21 of 32)
