REV: 10-11-2022 RL o Using compiled records together with field observed surface evidence to prepare a subsurface utility base map drawing, and incorporate the information into the topographic survey to be used for the master plan.  Provide native files Subtask 1.5: Conduct Preliminary Geotechnical Investigation & Report Preparation The geotechnical scope of work will be focused on providing recommendations to help support the designs of several important components of the master plan such as the splash pad, learning pool, the parking lot, pedestrian pathways, restroom pads, and plazas, as well as playground drainage. Deliverables: Completion of six to eight hand auger borings up-to depths of 5-10 feet consisting of dynamic cone penetrometers to obtain tube samples. Delivery of the samples to the laboratory for testing. Performing visual soil classification on all samples. Testing for moisture content, dry density, expansion potential, compression, corrosivity, R-values, and landscape suitability. Provide report to City Subtask 1.6: Preparation of Opportunities and Constraints Maps Using the information collected in the above tasks, Consultant will prepare diagrams identifying key opportunities and/or site characteristics. These diagrams may encourage use types, as well as constraints or characteristics that may limit or restrict use. They will also identify elements that might be both opportunities and constraints and clearly delineate trade-offs between competing interests. Deliverables: Provide diagrams/maps of space based on criteria above Provide native files. Subtask 1.7: Review and Evaluate Options for Site Plan and Placement of Amenities Coordinate meeting with City to discuss site planning options. Deliverables 1 week lead time or meeting Provide all relevant documents 1 week prior Subtask 1.8: Preparation of Meeting Minutes and Project Schedule Consultant will hold in person meetings or conference calls or zoom meetings with City staff on a regular basis during all phases of work. Consultant will provide ongoing maintenance of project schedule and communications file.
