Subtask 2.3: Community Workshop / Open Houses / Events Consultant will set up or assist in a series of tactical events to gather valuable feedback from people who could be future users of the new park. Consultant will provide interactive exhibits or displays that will allow community members to learn about the park planning process (including past efforts) and to identify priorities or give input on concepts. These will be scheduled by City staff. Deliverables: Organize and conduct 4 sessions during design process; Prepare related conceptual plans as developed from prior feedback for presentation at events Prepare related marketing materials 3 weeks out from events for public noticing o Webpage, social media, posters, banners, emails etc. Marketing strategy for workshops, including schedule Marketing materials; webpage, social media, posters, banners, emails etc. Support materials, PowerPoint; summary of workshop results Provide native files Subtask 2.4: Council and Commission Study Sessions and Hearings Consultant will develop PowerPoint and other meeting materials and present public outreach results, design concepts, and other relevant project information to Council and Commissions at study sessions and hearings during the course of the project. Joint Commission study sessions may occur. Presentation materials will be carried forward from meeting to meeting for efficiency and context. New slides added as necessary to provide new information. Deliverables: Up to two (2) total - meetings/work sessions/hearings PowerPoint presentation prepared jointly with City staff Subtask 2.5: Follow Up Presentation Consultant will develop PowerPoint and other meeting materials and present public outreach results, design concepts, and other relevant project information to Council and Commissions at up to 1 follow up meeting. Joint Commission study sessions may occur. Presentation materials will be carried forward from meeting to meeting for efficiency and context. New slides added as necessary to provide new information. Deliverables: Up to one (1) total – follow up Task 3: Conceptual Design Subtask 3.1: Develop Preliminary Conceptual Designs (3) Based on Community Feedback Consultant will prepare three (3) alternative design concepts for the park.
