REV: 10-11-2022 RL <br />The concepts will illustrate the pathway alignment and associated amenities as well as <br />indicate each parcel. The concepts will illustrate new and existing facilities, amenities, <br />green infrastructure, circulation, and parking. In addition to an overall design concept of <br />the site, the Consultant will prepare supporting graphics for key features, character <br />imagery, diagrams, and/or vignette drawings. Graphics for the alternatives may be more <br />conceptual and “sketchy” in nature. Plans will become more refined in Subtask D.2. <br />Plans will be based on a combination of results from the Study, input from the City staff, <br />stakeholders, focus groups, pop-up open house event, community workshops, <br />community survey, and social media outreach efforts. The design team will consult with <br />City staff regarding potential parameters for design including reasonable expectations for <br />construction costs and practical implementation strategies. <br />Deliverables: <br />Three (3) concepts for park – (in color) <br />Three (3) precedent image boards to accompany concepts <br />Provide native files <br />Subtask 3.2: Preparation of Master Plan Report Identifying The Final Preferred <br />Conceptual Design and Planned Recreational Amenities <br />Based on feedback from City Council, Advisory Committee, City staff, and the robust <br />community outreach process, Consultant will prepare a single preferred Master Plan <br />Report. The preferred plans will be the draft-final plan to be reviewed by the City, showing <br />all protected existing features as well as planned improvements. Consultant will illustrate <br />the preferred plan for the park in an overall design concept, supported by character <br />imagery, diagrams, and/or illustrated vignettes. The Preferred Plan graphics will provide <br />more detail than shown in the Alternative Concept Plans. Consultant will consult with City <br />staff to select perspective sketch views. <br />Deliverables: <br />Master Plan Report will include: <br />o Executive summary <br />o Project background and current site issues <br />o Brief summary of the City’s Park and recreation facilities <br />o An overarching vision for the future of Hoover Park, based on community needs and <br />inputs <br />o Summary of public engagement data gathered, including survey data obtained <br />o Best practices and design guidelines to inform the future park development <br />(categorized by programming types) <br />o Graphics, descriptions, and details to communicate intent of the final preferred master <br />plan concept <br />One (1) color illustrative preferred plan for park site <br />One (1) image board to accompany the preferred plan <br />One (1) colors and materials board (11”x17” max) <br />Two (2) perspective sketches for the site <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.233/O'Dell Engineering (Hoover Park Master Plan) (Page 16 of 22)
