The report will <br />include analytical results and field drawings and will be provided in electronic <br />(PDF) format. <br />BASMAA PCB SAMPLING <br />Consultant shall prepare and provide to the City a screening assessment as required <br />before demolition the buildings to be demolished (Screening Assessment). The Screening <br />Assessment will determine whether buildings proposed for demolition are likely to have <br />PCBs-containing building materials and will determine if PCBs are present at a <br />concentration equal to or greater than 50 parts per million (ppm) in building materials. The <br />Screening Assessment shall be prepared in compliance with the requirements of the Bay <br />Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association (BASMAA) document titled “PCBs <br />in Priority Building Materials: Model Screening Assessment Applicant Package, <br />Managing PCBs-Containing Building Materials during Demolition: Guidance, Tools, <br />Outreach and Training” dated August 2018 (Revised 11/7/19),including the requirement <br />that demolition permitees have conducted a model PCB Priority Building Materials <br />Screening Assessment to ensure that PCBs do not enter the municipal storm drains from <br />demolition activities <br /> <br />Evaluation protocol has been established by the BASMAA for structures constructed or <br />remodeled between 1950 and 1980. After the pre demo survey is completed Consultant <br />will provide City with a separate proposal for items found that meet the BASMAA criteria. <br />FEES <br /> <br />The lump sum fee for this Scope #1 as outlined above is $5,630.00.
