REV: 02-16-23 RL <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Together anticipates adding an additional collaborative partner <br />that will establish its membership for Fiscal Years 2022-2024 by formal agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the North Fair Oaks Community Council joined Redwood City Together in <br />2021-2022 as a collaborative partner and will sit on the Leadership Council as a community at <br />large member for Fiscal Years 2022-2024. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL COVENANTS AND <br />CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Purpose. The Parties are entering into this Agreement for the sole purpose of providing <br />assistance to and sustaining the work of Redwood City Together. Redwood City Together exists <br />for two major purposes: <br />a) To provide a safe and inclusive space wherein representatives of the collaborative <br />partners can collaborate with members of the private sector, businesses, nonprofits and <br />the community at large to improve the quality of life in Redwood City for children, youth, <br />and families. <br />b) To provide oversight and support to ongoing collaborative efforts and initiatives <br />that are working toward Redwood City Together’s agreed upon outcomes (e.g., to improve <br />community wellness, education and equity). <br />2. Term. This Agreement shall be effective from the date first above written until <br />June 30, 2024. <br />3. Structure of Redwood City Together. <br />a) Leadership Council. The Redwood City Together Leadership Council is composed <br />of up to two voting representatives from each of the collaborative partners’ governing <br />policy boards. To ensure Redwood City Together’s Leadership Council voting <br />representatives reflect the community it serves, the Leadership Council shall also include <br />two at-large members from the community. The two at-large members will have equal <br />opportunities and obligations, including voting rights, as those of the Leadership Council <br />members representing collaborative partners. The two at-large members will be North Fair <br />Oaks or Redwood City residents. The Executive Team will recruit and select two at-large <br />members for final approval by a vote of the Leadership Council. <br />b) Executive Team. The Redwood City Together Executive Team is composed of <br />executive leaders (e.g., superintendent, executive director, chief operating officer, senior <br />manager, etc.) from each of the partner organizations – Cañada College, City of Redwood <br />City, County of San Mateo (Health and Human Services Agency), Redwood City School <br />District, Sequoia Union High School District, Kaiser Permanente, Stanford University, and <br />the Sequoia Healthcare District, the North Fair Oaks Community Council, and an <br />additional partner organization that will establish its membership in Redwood City <br />Together for Fiscal Years 2022-2024 by formal agreement. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.025/John W.
