Standards <br />a. Maximum permitted heights are as indicated in the Height Regulation Chart. <br />Height for inhabited structures and uninhabited structures (e.g. parking garages) <br />is regulated by beth the number of floors permitted and by total height in feet <br />permitted. Inhabited spaces (including attics), er an„ ether inhabited snanes located above <br />the roof's eave line or mansard roof's peak, are not permitted except as provided <br />for in Subsection (C). <br />c. Inhabited spaces and structures that serve rooftop recreational uses (including <br />but not limited to rooftop bars/restaurants, open spaces._ gardens, swimming <br />pools, landscaping, publicly accessible amenities, etc. but not intended as <br />permanent dwellings) located above the roof's eave line or mansard roof's peak <br />are permitted, but subject to the height restrictions located in subsection (dl. <br />d. Portions of the building that extend above the primary building mass, such as <br />dormers, roof -top cupolas, elevator and mechanical equipment enclosures, roof <br />deck trellises, gazebos, inhabited spaces and structures, and other similar <br />features, shall not exceed the maximum height requirement by more than 10 <br />feet. <br />e. For historic properties as indicated on the Height Regulations Map, in instances <br />where there is a conflict between Section 2.1.3 and Section 2.7.2, the regulations <br />in Section 2.1.3 shall prevail. <br />f. Rooftop recreational uses shall not be limited in size, however, any structures <br />that support the rooftop recreational use shall not exceed: 1) fifty percent (501) <br />of the total area of the story immediately below the rooftop recreational use: or 2) <br />ten percent (10%) of the total floor area of the development, whichever is less. <br />Notwithstanding the foregoing, rooftop recreational uses that are open for public <br />use (as defined in 1.2.5) shall not be subject to size limitations for the <br />accompanying rooftop structure. <br />2.8 FACADE COMPOSITION REGULATIONS <br />(PAGE 90) <br />Replace Map with Figure 2.8-Fagade Composition Map <br />(PAGE 91) <br />Replace Chart with Figure 2.8- Fagade Composition Chart <br />2.9.
