REV: 11-22-23 VR <br />o The report will also include custom key findings, a quality/importance matrix <br />and benchmarks to like communities. <br />o A CSV download of raw survey data will be made available upon request <br />●Present results and analysis as requested (may be in-person and/or remote) <br />●Be available for consultation on findings and strategy <br />Redwood City responsibilities: <br />●Provide a point person for Policy Confluence, Inc. to work with on the survey logistics <br />●Provide timely input on survey questions and drafts as requested by Policy <br />Confluence, Inc., and give final approval of all content and mailing materials <br />●Provide requested files for customizing the survey materials (e.g., logos, letterhead, <br />electronic signature), as well as the GIS files for any geographic sub areas to be <br />tracked <br />●Actively publicize the survey effort, both sampled and open participation, to drive <br />participation rates <br />●Provide feedback and final approval on survey reports and related materials <br />Employee Survey <br />This survey will be conducted through The National Employee Survey (NES), a complete <br />assessment tool to help local governments answer tough questions about the workplace. <br />The NES covers ten key facets of employee experience: Communication, Organizational Ethics, <br />Employee Fit, Wages and Benefits, Physical Work Space, Supervisory Relationships, Job <br />Feedback System, Professional Development, Self-Reported Performance, and Overall Job <br />Satisfaction. <br />Policy Confluence, Inc. will: <br />●Administer the NES for all permanent (full- and part-time) Redwood City employees <br />o The Policy Confluence, Inc. platform allows for electronic data collection via <br />computers or other Internet capable devices such as mobile phones and <br />tablets <br />●Email survey invitations to all employees in order to retain employee anonymity, and <br />also send reminders to participate to non-responders <br />●Analyze survey results through a combination of software programs including SPSS, <br />R, Python and Tableau <br />●Compare results to national benchmarks, compiled from a database of more than <br />25,000 local government employees across the United States <br />●In addition to a digital dashboard of results, Policy Confluence, Inc.’s research team <br />will also create a custom report for Redwood City, including an executive summary, <br />explanation of methods, breakdown of results by department (if applicable), and <br />respondent characteristics <br />●A CSV download of raw anonymized survey data will be made available upon request <br />●Present results and analysis as requested (may be in-person and/or remote) <br />●Be available for consultation on findings and strategy <br />Redwood City responsibilities: <br />●Provide a list of all employees with email addresses, including the employee’s first <br />and last name and official City email address. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.286/Policy Confluence, Inc.
