REV: 11-07-23 SK <br />Consultant will include an estimate of operation and maintenance costs on <br />an annual basis that can be used for long term capital planning. Consultant <br />anticipates a 20% contingency will be included. <br />Subtask 6.5 – Specifications <br />Consultant will prepare draft technical specifications in CSI format for <br />elements included in their scope of work. All front-end specifications will be <br />provided by the City. <br />Specifications will include a table of contents and specification sections for <br />major equipment, including pumps, valves, gates, motors, VFDs, and auxiliary <br />equipment. <br />Subtask 6.6 – Submittals & Plan Reviews <br />Consultant will prepare a 60% Initial Design submittal for City review. The <br />submittal package will include the following information: 60% Plans, 60% <br />Specifications, 60% Engineer’s Estimate, and Draft Structural Calculations. <br />The 60% submittal will be used for CEQA letter and for the scale model <br />developed for the Physical Modeling task. City staff will have an opportunity to <br />review the 60% Initial Design Submittal and provide feedback prior to the <br />submittal being formalized. One round of review is allocated in the current <br />budget. City feedback will consist of the following tasks: <br />Consultant will submit the 60% Initial Design submittal to the City. <br />City will review the documents and issue comments within the 4- <br />week review period. <br />Consultant’s team will prepare a comment checklist that includes <br />preliminary responses and proposed revisions to address each <br />comment. Consultant team will identify comments not critical to CEQA <br />or the Physical Modeling that will be revised as part of the 90% Semi- <br />Final Design Submittal. <br />Consultant will schedule and conduct a City Meeting, as described <br />and budgeted under Task 1. <br />City staff will review the comment checklist and confirm proposed <br />revisions are acceptable. <br />Consultant’s team will revise and resubmit the 60% Initial Design <br />Submittal. <br />Deliverables for task 6: Electronic copy 60% Plans (24”x36” size), Electronic copy of 60% <br />Specifications (Word and PDF), Electronic copy of 60% Engineer’s Estimate (PDF), <br />Electronic copy of Draft Structural Calculations (PDF), and Electronic copy of 60% <br />Comment Checklist (PDF). <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.241/BKF Engineers (Price Tract Pump Station Design) (Page 24 of 54)
