REV: 11-07-23 SK <br />TASK 7: 90% SEMI-FINAL DESIGN SUBMITTAL <br />Subtask 7.1 – Draft SCADA Strategy and Programming Report <br />The subconsultant, DTN Engineers, Inc, will fine tune the new pump <br />station’s SCADA design. DTN will prepare a draft SCADA Strategy and <br />Programming Report for City review. The report will describe the SCADA <br />strategy and control logic for the pump station. Programming of the <br />SCADA/PLC may be provided as an optional service, refer to optional task 6. <br />Subtask 7.2 – 90% Construction Documents <br />Consultant team will progress the 60% Initial Design Documents to the 90% <br />level. Consultant will revise and update the BOD report based on the latest <br />design information. Detailed technical design information will be included. <br />Consultant will formalize the structural calculations. Consultant will make <br />revisions to address remaining comments from the 60% Initial Design <br />submittal. <br />Consultant will update the Engineer’s Estimate of Probable Construction <br />Costs to reflect the construction level design. The Engineer’s estimate will <br />include a 15% contingency. <br />Consultant will refine the technical specifications. <br />The geotechnical subconsultant will perform a review of the 90% <br />construction documents and issue a letter confirming that the design complies <br />with the geotechnical recommendations. <br />Subtask 7.3 – 90% Submittal & Plan Review <br />Consultant will prepare the 90% Semi-Final Design Submittal for the City to <br />review and FEMA review. <br />An assigned representative at the City will circulate the 90% submittal to all <br />applicable departments, such as Building Inspection, Engineering and <br />Construction, Planning and Housing, the Fire Department, CalOES-grant <br />administrator, and FEMA, etc. Consultant anticipates FEMA comments that are <br />issued, if any, will not result in significant changes on the pump station <br />consisting of electrical, structural, geotechnical, mechanical components and <br />site layout, significant re-drafting of plans or re-writing of the specifications. <br />The 90% submittal and plan review process will include the following tasks: <br />Consultant will submit the 90% Semi-Final Design submittal to the <br />City. <br />City will review the documents and issue comments within the 4- <br />week period assigned in the schedule. <br />FEMA will review the documents and issue comments. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.241/BKF Engineers (Price Tract Pump Station Design) (Page 25 of 54)
