<br />REV: 11-07-23 SK <br />standards for watertight penetrations through the building as part of the scope <br />of work of this project. <br />• Changes to the MEP design related to change orders initiated by others, <br />supply chain issues, ASIs, and/or value engineering are not included. <br />• Life cycle cost analysis for mechanical/electrical systems is not included. <br />• Energy modeling for utility incentives is not included. <br />• Shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction coordination <br />drawings are assumed to be provided by the Contractor and are not included. <br />• Radon system design is not included. <br />• Acoustical analysis, design of noise attenuation requirements, and special <br />vibration isolation requirements for HVAC mechanical systems are not <br />included. <br />ELECTRICAL SCOPE <br />• The pump station shall be improved for full compliance with latest NFPA <br />820, local and state regulations. <br />• Standby generator to replace existing generator is included in the contract. <br />Its permit application is included in the scope of work assuming make and <br />model of the genset is selected, and reviewed, approved by the City, and <br />ordered by the Contractor early during construction phase to avoid delays. <br />• SCADA PLC, wireless communication, and associated accessories shall <br />follow Redwood City Standards. <br />• PG&E Service Upgrade Application and coordination with PG&E ae <br />included in the scope of work. Underground service conversion is intended and <br />included in the scope of work. <br />• If requested by the City, P&ID drawings to be delivered per optional task 13. <br />• California Title 24 lighting calculations are not included in the scope of work. <br />• PLC/SCADA programming and startup assistance is assumed to be <br />provided by the Contractor, but may be provided as an additional service. <br />• New MCC for the pump station will include VFDs for the pumps. <br />• New SCADA/PLC using models as per the City’s Standards. <br />• Wireless SCADA communication will be implemented with coordination with <br />the City SCADA consultant, i.e., EDCCO Group in San Carlos CA. <br /> <br />OPTIONAL TASKS <br />The below optional tasks will not be used unless the City issues an authorization to <br />proceed. All activities to be performed as explicitly authorized by the City. <br />Optional Task 1 – BOUNDARY SURVEY / RECORD OF SURVEY <br />• Consultant will perform a Boundary Survey and prepare a Boundary <br />Analysis for the project.
