Consultant’s subconsultant Plan to Place will lead the focus group <br />meetings. <br />Anticipated roles and responsibilities include: <br />Consultant will work with City staff to identify stakeholders and draft meeting <br />agendas. <br />Consultant will work with City staff to coordinate and schedule the meetings. <br />Consultant will co-facilitate meetings; Consultant will lead stakeholder meetings <br />while P2P will lead focus group meetings. <br />City staff will lead meeting logistics (physical location set up or virtual platform) and <br />Consultant will assist with meeting logistics as needed, including virtual platform <br />settings. <br />Consultant can assist with translation of materials, and live interpretation as <br />needed (note that interpretation and translation services would incur an additional <br />cost). <br />Consultant will summarize the key takeaways from each meeting. <br />Task 3.5: Community Workshops / Open Houses <br />Consultant will collaborate with City staff to prepare for and execute in-person community- <br />wide workshops to provide community members, stakeholders, and decision makers a <br />forum to learn about and share input on the Precise Plan, sensitivity analysis, and EIR <br />process. It is anticipated that live polling, small group activities, simultaneous <br />interpretation, and other interactive tools will be used. Community workshops will be <br />advertised digitally on social media platforms and email list services, and potentially <br />through physical mailers, depending on the City’s preference and capacity, to reach all <br />residents and workers. <br />Consultant will organize up to four community workshops at key points during the project. <br />Each workshop will include an opening presentation followed by interactive exercises. <br />The proposed topic of each workshop is below: <br />Workshop #1: Kick off, Process, What We Have Heard, and Development <br />Principles. This will occur early in the project and will focus on kicking off the <br />community planning process; reviewing the project scope of work, including the <br />technical analysis to be completed, the timing of deliverables, and engagement <br />touchpoints in the process; confirming the issues that have been highlighted in <br />past engagement; and discussing draft development principles. <br />Workshop #2: Sensitivity Analysis and CEQA Project Alternatives. Consultant will <br />present the findings from the sensitivity analysis and discuss a series of CEQA <br />project alternatives. The intent will be to gather information on the potential project <br />alternatives to help determine the alternative to be studied further in the CEQA <br />process. <br />Workshop #3: Community Benefits. Consultant will present an assessment of the <br />proposed community benefits package associated with the Redwood Life Project, <br />as well as the proposed benefits associated with the CEQA project alternative. <br />Consultant will describe fiscal impacts and costs of the project and any <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.318/Raimi + Associates (Redwood Life Precise Plan) (Page 16 of 45)
