REV: 02-16-24 SK <br />•Consultant will review and provide written responses to City for: up to five (5) shop <br />drawing submittals, deferred submittals with supporting calculations, and up to five <br />(5) contractor RFIs. <br />•The following items are excluded from Consultant’s scope of services. Consultant <br />can provide these services upon written task authorization from City: <br />o Final structural observation <br />o As-built drawings based on contractor mark-ups, RFIs, change orders. <br />o Field survey to support as-built drawings. <br />Task 5 – Planning Site Visit for $4,750 LS <br />•Consultant will conduct a site visit to assess and analyze the existing condition. <br />City may accompany Consultant on the site visit. <br />•During the site visit Consultant will photograph and document channel deficiencies <br />identified in the RFP and include any additional observations of note. Consultant <br />will take notes regarding access limitations, limits of distress, severity of distress, <br />and potential repair concepts identified. These notes will be shared with City in a <br />written format. <br />Task 6 – Design Survey for $4,940 LS <br />•Consultant will conduct a field survey and create a base map for the Project site <br />based on available as-built as described below: <br />o The survey will include channel bottom and top of wall elevations at <br />locations of the required improvements. <br />o Consultant will establish project alignment stationing and survey control <br />points. <br />o The field survey will include invert elevations and pope diameter of storm <br />drain lateral lines, if applicable. <br />o The field survey will include existing channel construction joint locations. <br />o The field survey will locate existing improvements/structures within 16 feet <br />of edge of channel wall on both sides 1-foot contours. <br />o Consultant will provide a Control Plan sheet that is to be included in the <br />Design Drawings. <br />o It is assumed that there are no utility crossings within the Project limits. City <br />shall provide utility records for the Project area to verify no utilities are <br />impacted. <br />o It is assumed that property mitigation will not be required for construction of <br />the Project. Review and investigation of entitlements, easements, recorded <br />maps, title reports, and encumbrances is excluded from Consultant’s scope <br />of services. <br />•Consultant will prepare and provide hard and digital (AutoCAD) copies of the <br />topographic base mapping for City records. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.016/Wood Rodgers, Inc.
