REV: 05-08-24 VR 3. Coordinate with City’s SCADA consultant, Telstar Instruments, for the 90% design of the PLC unit and control system programming. Deliverables: Digital copies of the 90% plan set (including AutoCAD DWG files), specifications, and Engineer’s Estimate. All City comments and/or request for clarifications must be answered and incorporated into the design submittal prior to Task 6. Task 6: Final Design (100% Design Submittal) With the City's approval, the Consultant shall proceed with the Final Design. Specific tasks in this phase include: 1. Incorporate 90% Design Submittal review comments. 2. Prepare 100% Design Submittal consisting of complete construction documentsincluding drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. 3. The 100% Design Submittal shall be ready for signature and submitted to the City for review and approval. A marked set will be returned along with staff's comments and/or request for clarifications for revision. Deliverables: Digital copies of plans, specifications and estimate for the project. Consultant shall also furnish an electronic copy of the drawings in AutoCAD and in PDF format, specifications in Word, cost estimate, and probable construction schedule in Excel. Task 7: Bid Support Services The following services shall be provided during the bidding process and construction phase of the project. 1. Schaaf & Wheeler to coordinate, attend, and prepare agenda and meeting minutes for the Pre-Bid Meeting 2. Provide written design clarification responses during bid phase. 3. Respond to written questions from prospective bidders. Assist in issuing addenda, as directed by the City. Task 8: Construction Support Services The following services shall be provided during the construction phase of the project. 1. Schaaf & Wheeler to coordinate, attend, and prepare agenda and meeting minutes for the pre-construction meeting. 2. Attend Construction site visits as needed during construction at appropriate stages. (Up to five site visits assumed) 3. Review shop drawings submittals, change order requests, requests for information and provide written recommendations to the City.
