<br />21 <br /> <br />certification, and completion of as much of the certification task book <br />as possible at the employee’s current rank, subject to the approval <br />of the Redwood City Fire Department Training Officer) shall receive <br />one hundred sixty dollars ($160) of Education Incentive Pay per <br />month. <br /> <br />D. Employees in the classification of Fire Captain who are hired by the <br />City on or after January 1, 2019, and who have successfully <br />completed the California State Fire Training Executive Chief Fire <br />Officer Certification (i.e., completion of the coursework required for <br />the certification, and completion of as much of the certification task <br />book as possible at the employee’s current rank, subject to the <br />approval of the Redwood City Fire Department Training Officer) shall <br />receive one hundred sixty dollars ($160) of Education Incentive Pay <br />per month. <br /> <br />E. Employees, regardless of hire date, in the classification of Fire <br />Prevention Officer, who have successfully completed any of the <br />following California State Fire Training Certifications (i.e., completion <br />of the coursework required for the certification, and completion of as <br />much of the certification task book as possible at the employee’s <br />current rank, subject to the approval of the Redwood City Fire <br />Department Training Officer) shall, upon approval of the Training <br />Officer, receive one hundred forty-five dollars ($145) of Education <br />Incentive Pay per month per certification, not to exceed a total of two <br />hundred ninety dollars ($290) per month for all certifications: <br /> <br />1. Fire Inspector I <br />2. Fire Inspector II <br />3. Plan Examiner <br />4. Fire Investigator <br />5. Community Risk Educator <br />6. Community Risk Specialist <br />7. Community Risk Officer <br /> <br />F. Employees, regardless of hire date, in the classification of Deputy Fire <br />Marshall who have successfully completed any of the following <br />California State Fire Training Certifications (i.e., completion of the <br />coursework required for the certification, and completion of as much <br />of the certification task book as possible at the employee’s current <br />rank, subject to the approval of the Redwood City Fire Department <br />Training Officer) shall, upon approval of the Training Officer, receive <br />one hundred seventy dollars ($170) of Education Incentive Pay per <br />6.A. - Page 32 of 99 <br />39
