REV: 10-04-24 VR <br />»Project Administration: Consultant’s administration efforts include initial development of <br />work plan, filing system, and processing timely invoices. <br />»Monthly Updates, Progress Summary and Invoices <br />Task 2 – Existing Conditions and Quick-Build Project Evaluation <br />Consultant shall coordinate with the City to review existing available data for design, including the <br />City’s vehicular and traffic data from the Pilot Quick Build to inform the project. <br />Consultant shall conduct a walk audit field review to verify existing visible equipment and <br />infrastructure such as existing lane geometry and physical roadway features, curb ramps, <br />sidewalk geometry, trees, driveways, visible utilities, traffic signal controller cabinets, signal poles, <br />pull boxes, and other traffic signal features. The walk audit field review shall also be used to gather <br />critical information for the design including adjacent land uses and potential accessibility issues. <br />The walk audit shall be coordinated with City staff. Utility potholing is not anticipated to be needed <br />for this project. <br />Task 2.1 – Data Collection & Field Visit <br />Consultant shall coordinate with the City to collect existing available data for design including the <br />following items: <br />Utility Contacts and Utility Maps <br />As-builts (Utility, Roadway and Traffic signal) <br />Property Lines <br />Sample Technical Specifications <br />City Standard Details <br />Vehicular and traffic data from the Pilot Quick Build design. <br />The data will be uploaded in the shared data platform. <br />Using a current utility contact list provided by the City, Consultant shall submit utility request letters <br />to utility companies with potential facilities in the project vicinity. Obtaining utility records from <br />PG&E, Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, and other utility companies known by the City to have facilities <br />within City limits is anticipated in the scope. Consultant shall draft the utility request letters and <br />email it to City staff for the City to be placed on City letterhead and submitted to the utility <br />company. <br />Consultant shall conduct a field review on site with the following objectives: <br />1. Review the temporary calming measures that were put into place during the pilot program <br />and discuss changes/improvements that can be made to them. <br />2. Verify the completeness of the topographic survey (Task 2.3) and review it in the field to <br />better understand constraints that could conflict with the proposed design such as <br />excessive slopes, drainage structures and utilities. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.181/KImley-Horn (Roosevelt Ave Permanent Traffic Calming Project De (Page 12 of 42) <br />6.B. - Page 16 of 46 <br />41
