REV: 10-04-24 VR
3. Verify existing visible equipment and infrastructure such as existing lane geometry and
physical roadway features, curb ramps, sidewalk geometry, trees, driveways, visible
utilities, traffic signal controller cabinets, signal poles, pull boxes, and other traffic signal
features. The field review shall also be used to gather critical information for the design
including adjacent land uses and potential accessibility issues.
Task 2.2 Post-Pilot Evaluation
Consultant shall complete the post-pilot evaluation utilizing before and after data collected in
Task 2.1. Consultant shall summarize the results in a draft Pilot Evaluation technical
memorandum. The draft memorandum shall include tables, charts, and figures comparing
the data and reducing the results. The draft memorandum shall be submitted to the City for
review. Based on one set of non-conflicting comments, coordinated between different City
departments, from the City, Consultant shall revise the draft memorandum and submit a final
technical memorandum.
Task Deliverables:
Draft Pilot Evaluation technical memorandum in PDF
Final Pilot Evaluation technical memorandum in PDF
Task 2.3 – Topographic Survey
Consultant shall work with its subconsultants to provide a boundary and topographic survey within
the project limits as defined in the scope of work. There will be 10 separate locations. The ground
survey shall include all pertinent features above and below ground surface and shall be on the
NAD83 and NAVD88 datum. The scope of the topographic survey shall include elevation features,
utility dips, site features, and boundary information as listed in the scope of work.
Topographic survey at some intersections is anticipated based on the improvements from the
earlier design stage (Quick Build):
Deliverables will include:
• Topographic Survey (PDF and CAD in a version that is coordinated with City staff)
• Aerial Imagery
• Right-of-Way and Boundary Information
Task 2.4 – Conceptual Plans
Consultant shall develop up to two (2) Concept Plans for Roosevelt Avenue based on Task 2.1,
2.2 and 2.3. The concept design plans shall show the proposed design layouts for the traffic
calming improvements, including potential bulb-outs and other horizontal traffic calming features,
as well as striping improvements. The Concept Plan shall consider potential stormwater
implications. The Concept Plan will be used for community outreach and may be iterated. Up to
two (2) rounds of City comments, prior to acceptance of the final concepts, is scoped in the project
budget.
ATTY/AGR.2024.181/KImley-Horn (Roosevelt Ave Permanent Traffic Calming Project De (Page 13 of 42)
6.B. - Page 17 of 46
42
