REV: 10-04-24 VR <br />o 95% Opinion of Probable Cost (Construction Cost Estimate) <br />o 95% Specifications <br />Profiles including Utility, Storm Drain, Curb Radii or Roadway Centerlines are not scoped in the <br />project budget. Utility Design will be limited to Storm Drain as needed for drainage. Traffic Signal <br />design and street lighting is not scoped in the project budget. <br />Task 7 – Develop Final Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) <br />Based upon one (1) set of consolidated, non-conflicting comments from the City on the 95% <br />PS&E, Consultant shall advance the PS&E to a Final Design Level. Prior to the start of this task, <br />Consultant shall set a virtual meeting with the City to discuss any last outstanding items or areas <br />of concern that may have been identified during the 95% submittal review. Consultant shall <br />prepare a comments response matrix to the City’s consolidated comments on the 95% plans and <br />shall provide this document as a backup with the 100% Design PS&E. <br />Task 8 – Technical Assistance During Construction Bidding <br />Consultant shall provide the City with assistance during the advertisement and bidding periods <br />for the project. This will include aiding the City in attending the pre-bid conference, responding to <br />questions received about the project design, and preparing addenda and/or clarifications to the <br />PS&E that are deemed necessary. Consultant shall respond to City questions during bid <br />preparation and answer questions from prospective contractors or the City to clarify the plans <br />and/or specifications. The total amount of effort scoped and budgeted for bidding support is <br />maximum 35 hours. <br />Task 9 – Engineering Support During Construction <br />Consultant shall provide the Construction Phase Services listed below. A preliminary budget has <br />been provided. <br />Construction Meetings – Consultant shall attend construction meetings throughout the <br />Construction process via video or teleconference. <br />Requests for Information (RFIs) – Consultant shall respond to reasonable and appropriate <br />Contractor requests for information made in accordance with the Contract Documents and <br />issue necessary clarifications and interpretations. Any orders authorizing variations from the <br />Contract Documents shall be only by the City. <br />Shop Drawings and Material Submittals – Consultant shall review submitted shop drawings <br />and materials data for general conformance with the Contract Documents.
