REV: 10-04-24 VR
Task 10 – As-Built Drawings
Upon completion of construction, Consultant shall prepare a record drawing(s) showing changes
reported by the Contractor or made to the design by the Consultant. The Record Drawings shall
be based upon red-lines provided by the contractor and field reviews, using AutoCAD. Final
Record Drawings shall be submitted electronically, in PDF and CAD format. The version of CAD
files shall be coordinated with City staff.
General Notes on the Project Scope:
»Improvements along the Roosevelt corridor is based on the quick-build design, the scope
of the project is for intersection bulb-outs along the corridor. At this point, there is an intent
to improve ten (10) intersections with bulb-outs and pedestrian crossing facilities for ADA
compliance as shown in the quick-build plans. Other intersections, including curb ramps,
along Roosevelt within this corridor are not anticipated to be disturbed unless the quick-
build evaluation suggests differently. Minimal modifications to the implemented quick build
plans is assumed.
»This project will not significantly alter existing drainage patterns. The element/treatment
used for improvements will include cut-outs to maintain drainage or new catch basins with
underground piping connecting to existing flow lines and inlets. As such, design of
drainage infrastructure will be minimal.
»The roadway resurfacing work between El Camino Real and Hudson Street will be a
combination of slurry seal, mill and overlay and base repair / full depth replacement with
areas indicated by City staff. Four (4) curb ramps will need to be updated as part of this
scope of work due to the limits of pavement, if more than this is required or requested then
separate scope and fee will be requested.
»Improvements for this project will not trigger Regional Quality Control Board MRP 3.0
Stormwater based on the latest C.3 requirements. This includes the traffic calming
improvements as well as the roadway resurfacing, should the overall area of disturbance
exceed threshold for Roadway Reconstruction Projects (1 acre), separate scope and fee
will be requested.
»It is anticipated that apart from Stormwater improvements, minimal impacts to other
existing utilities as part of this scope of work. Water, wastewater and dry utility design or
coordination is not anticipated to be required as part of this project.
»Storm Drain or any Utility profiling is not anticipated as part of this scope of work.
»Any curb ramp, roadway or curb radii profiles is not anticipated as part of the improvement
package.
»City will lead coordination with SamTrans, Fire Department and other authorities having
jurisdiction
»It is assumed that tree removal will be coordinated by the City with the City Arborist if
necessary.
ATTY/AGR.2024.181/KImley-Horn (Roosevelt Ave Permanent Traffic Calming Project De (Page 17 of 42)
6.B. - Page 21 of 46
46
