Public Comment <br />To: GRP-City Council <council@redwoodcity.org> <br />Good evening City Council. <br /> Anti-immigration sentiment is on the rise, and the prospect of mass deportation is real. I'm in <br />support of the City Council to consider this ordinance on the agenda for the December <br />16,2024 meeting. By restricting the use of City resources and not assisting Immigration <br />Authorities we can protect so many families from deportation and separation. As this will <br />impact us ALL in Redwood City in one way or another. <br />My hope is that my City does everything in their power to protect us all from what's to come. <br />As we know this has happened to my community before and many U.S. citizens were deported <br />as well.
