REV: 10-09-24 MI <br />Construction Documents Phase: <br />1.Prepare construction documents, including plans, details and specifications, <br />complete and ready for City review, permitting, and bidding. Plans shall be submitted <br />in phases of completeness, i.e. 30% or 50%; 60% or 75%; 90%; 100%; Construction <br />Conform Set if applicable. Final permitting and bid construction documents set shall <br />be stamped and signed by design professional in charge. <br />2.Construction documents shall conform to any graphic standards, including title blocks, <br />scale, established by the City. <br />3.Prepare detailed cost estimates for architectural work at each phase of design and <br />construction document development. Cost estimates shall correspond with line items <br />and unit costs on project Bid Spreadsheet and the Measurement and Payment Clause <br />in the project specifications. <br />4.Detail design and development for site specific details, City Standard details and other <br />agency standard details as required. <br />5.Technical specifications shall be in City Standard, CSI or Caltrans format, as directed <br />by City. Unless stated otherwise, project specifications shall include Measurements <br />and Payments clause that correspond with project Bid Spreadsheet. <br />6.Provide all plan work to the City of Redwood City in AutoCAD 2010 or newer format <br />(as approved by Public Works Facilities Superintendent) and word processing work <br />in MS Word (most recent version). <br />7.Project Administration as required. <br />Bidding and Construction Phase: <br />1.Provide assistance during the Construction bidding process, including to attend pre- <br />bid and pre-construction meetings; respond to bidder's questions and prepare <br />Addenda as necessary; assist City in qualifying bidders, evaluation of bonds, <br />insurance coverage, financial capability, and experience; assist City in bid analysis. <br />2.Substitution Request evaluation. <br />3.Review of submittals and shop drawings. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
