Agreement for Services with Wallace Roberts & Todd, LLC (WRT) for planning, urban <br />design, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), community engagement, and <br />economic analysis consulting services to support development of the Downtown & <br />Central Redwood City Plan, with funding provided by General Plan maintenance fees <br />(304) Reso 16235 <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement for <br />planning, urban design, CEQA, community engagement, and economic analysis <br />consulting services with WRT for the Downtown & Central Redwood City Plan for a total <br />not-to-exceed amount of $3,068,241, which includes a base fee of $2,789,310 and a 10% <br />contingency of $278,931; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution appropriating $3,068,241 for contract costs associated with <br />professional services for the Downtown & Central Redwood City Plan. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.E. Agreement for Services with Astound Broadband, LLC, to resume maintenance and <br />installation of fiber optics facilities in Redwood City to continue providing internet <br />service for its customers to communicate with data centers, exchange information, and <br />access the internet (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement for <br />Services with Astound Broadband, LLC, for the installation of fiber optic facilities in <br />Redwood City for an initial term of 10 years, August 2024 through August 2034, with an <br />automatic yearly renewal thereafter. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1. Existing Facilities <br />6.F. Award 2023-2024 Watermain Replacement Project - Cambridge and Emerald Hills to <br />Casey Construction, Inc. with funding of up to $4,167,307 provided in the Water Capital <br />Projects Fund (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents <br />and award the standard form contract for the 2023-2024 Watermain Replacement <br />Project - Cambridge and Emerald Hills to Casey Construction, Inc. of Emerald Hills for <br />their responsive and responsible low total bid of $3,788,461 from the Water Capital
