Completion of <br />this initiative is anticipated by July 2025. <br />SMARTIE Goal – Transition the pilot <br />Community Wellness and Crisis Response <br />Team (CWCRT) program into an ongoing <br />program, in collaboration with San Mateo <br />County Behavioral Health and Recovery <br />Services, to ensure the continuity of the <br />current mental health clinician coverage for <br />marginalized community members and <br />unhoused individuals throughout Redwood <br />City by April 2025. <br />PD 100% <br />The CWCRT program has transitioned from a <br />pilot program to a full-time contract position, <br />renewable annually. The clinician assigned to <br />Redwood City is under contract with the <br />County through June 2025. Before July 2025, <br />staff plan to ask the City Council to add the <br />position to the budget so the City can hire the <br />clinician as a City employee, fully integrating <br />this program into the City of Redwood City. <br />5.A. - Page 63 of 75 <br />65
